Great service and eating was delicious. garnel and grotten were fabulous special of the day was thunfischsteak. I'd like to be back.

Restaurant made it sound like it was exclusive and high end by booking with credit card only and sending frequent reminders about penalties if we did not show up. but was a disappointment as it was just an average hotel restaurant with nothing exciting on the menu or in the ambience. It may be ok for people staying in that hotel but definitely not worth a trek if you are staying elsewhere

Worst meal ever. Maybe this is not the normal for this restaurant as this was a special Christmas fixed price dinner advertised as: “Celebrate Christmas Day at Roots Coastal Kitchen, with holiday specials, carving station local classics prepared by Chef Ramon Carillo. Prepayment required nonrefundable”. Turns out this was a buffet never said it was a buffet anywhere. $79 per person plus tax and tip $100 per person. 20% tip $60 for 4 of us) just for refilling water glasses. Almost every dish on the buffet was cold. We asked them to microwave our plates. And on top of this, we had to pay for parking. Would definitely NOT recommend, especially for any price fix special occasions.

The dinner we had earlier in the week was excellent. The buffet on the 25th was average and certainly not worth $100+ per person.

Christmas Eve experience was FABULOUS. All the food was delicious but the phenomenal service provided by Chayanne is what made our evening. He doted on us like we were guests in his home. ¡Mil gracias por una víspera de Navidad inolvidable.
