Stopped by the Bob Evan’s Homestead. Drove through the Christmas decorations on the farm. Then stopped in for lunch. The dining area is clean and nicely decorated. There were very few here for lunch which was surprising. The service was excellent. We ordered grilled cheese, turkey and dressing and ham steak lunches. The meals were good and filling. We would stop again if in the area at mealtime. View all feedback.
What Alex Rogers doesn't like about Bob Evans:
The Bob Evans restaurant located on the historic Bob Evans farm should function as a flagship location for the restaurant chain, exemplifying the best that the brand has to offer. Sadly, it falls far short of that goal. If I'm being charitable, I could call it mediocre. I paid over $20 for a plate of lukewarm turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes that didn't taste right. There was graffiti on the bathroom wall. On... View all feedback.
I visited the Rio Grande Bob Evans Farm Festival and had an amazing day. The food was top-notch, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was delightful – all rated 5 out of 5!
Meal Type: Brunch Price Range: $10–20 I had the pleasure of dining in for brunch, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. **Food: 5/5** The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the sausage; it was exceptional and greatly enhanced my brunch. Each bite was packed with flavor, making it a must-try for anyone visiting. **Service: 4/5** The service was attentive and friendly, though there were a few moments where we had to wait a bit longer than expected for our drinks. However, the staff was polite and made sure we were well taken care of. **Atmosphere: 4/5** The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax with friends over brunch. The décor was charming, though it could be a bit noisy when the restaurant was busy. Overall, I highly recommend this place for brunch—especially for the sausage!
The food, service, and prices at the Bob Evans Festival are all outstanding. I enjoyed dining in!
There is NO BUFFET!! Other than that there was plenty of food trucks consisting of ice cream, hot dog, popcorn trucks. I highly reccomend you try A-Towns Pies and Fries. They are good good, I had the cheesy bacon cajun fries amd it was a generous portion and definetly worth the 13$. There was also ample vendors there with nitted and painted merchs. Stands for apple butters, honeys, jerky, and even pots of beans. There was live dancing and music, we saw a tap dancing group while we were eating. The tent closest to the Bob Evan was playing rock. Plenty of farm animals and my fav was the Longhorns just like the ones you'd see at a Texas U game! Even though theres no buffet saddly I do reccommend. Oh and for some odd reason it all closed at five!? Meal type: Lunch Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
