We had a great stay with the team at Ibis budget Botafogo. You are all super friendly and ready to help! Gustavo was absolutely amazing and helped us a lot of legend!

Not bad. This place is indeed as budget as it gets; more akin to a upscale hostel than a hotel. Rooms are extremely small, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is satisfactory, but you don't exactly want to eat it for more than a day or two. I understand this is a budget hotel but they could offer a few services outside of a room; a guest fridge for example. Wifi was nice and fast . In all fairness, it offers a good value for the price in a great location.

Great location, personal very friendly. Unfortunately we were unlucky. At the first day our breakfest was denied, they said we didn't have paid for. We had to leave early so we didn't have time to look for the emails. After we came back and showed the e-mal they gave us tickets for breakfest for the next days, but no kind of compensation from the first los breakfest. The second day in the morning we had no cold water so they took us to shower in the hotel behind. The third day we had again problems with water but it lasted shorter. Besodes thar whene we just came i found one pillow without clothes and they gave me a sheet to wrap it

Santos Dumont airport is just 11min away and the bus station 13min from the hotel. The hotel has functionational rooms with confortable beds, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

Not pet friendly, be sure you bring the vaccination for the dog and letter from veterinary before going to hotel. No, it doesn’t matter if you are far away from home and cannot provide proof with a picture and e-mail from the veterinary. Or their way or no way. Staff not friendly, rooms need maintenance. If you want to stay in the hotel do not enter the garage or you will not check in.
