The restaurant is located directly next to the famous stairs Escadaria Selaron in the center of Lapa. They have a completely vegan menu which consists of traditional brazilian dishes in a vegan version as well as some burgers and other vegan treats. They also have an extensive cocktail menu. I’ve never left a bad review for a vegan restaurant but this place was just awful. Also their prices are very high for the quality of food. The descriptions are very elaborate but in reality is not good. I ordered burger with “goiaba ketchup” but instead it was pure goiaba syrup. Drenched in sweet syrup no other flavors were found. I was really excited to go on bandolim as it looked very inviting, so when my mother visited, we went there. we are both vegan foods and love to try new vegan restaurants and support vegan businesses. we basically tried every plate on the menu. Unfortunately, the quality of eating and presentation was not what we hoped for (we knew it was not a high end, but that was just bad). I talked to the service staff about it and I really hope that they do something to educate their chef or change them, bc the location is so beautiful and I would like to go back there many paints to enjoy good vegan food.
Pretty decent food. Not the biggest portions, but I did enjoy it.
Everything is vegan and there is a ton of options of traditional Brazilian comida de boteco Good prices.
Nice place near the town center, kimd customer service and a lot of different options.
