The price is obviously not compatible with the laughable small portions and their awful preparation. Almost 20 dollars for fried fish portion without any sauce that weighs no more than 2 ounces and that is pathetically served on a tea saucer with space to spare, mind you! Really a tourist trap of the worst quality View all feedback.
Splendid view! Nice atmosphere! Good oysters. One of the few places in Rio where u can have lobster (although I didnt really like their sauce in the Thermidor version. I d stick to the grilled version without their Thermidor sauce)
Great place, located in the last remaining tower of Rio's old public market, just by the sea. Good sea food, a bit on the expensive side. The location can be awkward at night, though.
A very traditional restaurant located in the single remaining part from the original food market in Rio. It has changed the administration and the menu a few years ago, sensibly dropping the quality of the food. I asked for a moqueca (traditional fish stew) that came almost cold. The menu also featured an Italian pasta that turned to be a very specific grain from Sardenha, but not exactly a pasta in Brazilian standards. I consider expensive if compared to the quality, but regardless, it worths the visit for angles of wine and starters enjoying the view. Definitely Its high point is the view from the Bay.
