This is a great little spot right on the beach. All the tables have umbrellas to shade you from the sun. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The service was great and drinks refreshing the only thing that sucked was all the beach vendors coming thru trying to sell there product. Overall definitely stop in and live music on Sundays. On the pleasure side of my review, I would like to say how well organized Mateja is in the course of her business. My wife and I have come here for a few years and are always greeted by Mateja and her staff with sincerity and politics. The food is always done to perfection as well as real homemade food. Great food, entertainment and business. On Matja's side, this city is very happy to have someone who works hard all day in their business and needs time to help children, animals, etc. in Guayabitos municipality. We donated or donated to many of the fund hosts in the Mateja's Pub. Here to Mateja and her staff for outstanding community business and supporters.
Mateja's offers both Canadian and Mexican foods. Recently Mateja added specials for Friday nights. Tonight was her roast beef. So very good. Decent prices and good drinks. We have been going there for 9 years now. Still a great choice for lunch or dinner. All...serving staff speak English and Spanish.
Great place to stop in for an ice cold cerveza will on a beach stroll. Staff was friendly and views are very nice
I stumbled upon this bar full of Canucks while a Winnipeg Stampede football game was on. To say the least it was a lot of fun.
Good beach location. Satellite TV. Home made fish and chips were excellent. Live music and a great meeting place on Sundays.
