It is my second time at Osteria Teatro in Piazza and I love the Chef special and innovative receipts. Maybe menu is a bit limited and service from sommelier can improve, however is an extremely different food experience one should try.
We called here early one evening for a bite to eat. It was relatively busy but most people were already eating. We ordered drinks which arrived quickly, then food which didn’t take too long either so far so good.... Once we had finished eating our table was cleared, there was no offer of dessert or coffee, it was as though we were suddenly invisible! There were two waiting staff working, the female seemed to be doing most of the work whilst the male was completely disinterested. After a long wait (25 minutes!! we finally caught their attention and asked for a dessert menu, then before they could leave we placed our order. The food was nice, very reasonably priced and tasty but sadly the service (lack of! let them down on this occasion. I wouldn’t rush back and would struggle to recommend unless you were prepared to wait.
Advised by our hotel we went there. We had dinner outside at the walls of the theater. Had homemade “strozzapreti con vongole”. Real Delicous. They also have a wide variety of pizzas. The owner Paola very friendly. I recommend it.
After some shopping we went to this restaurant. The owners were really kind, the food came fast and was delicious. We were sitting outside what was nice, but when it went some darker, you couldn’t really see much. So maybe some lights are nicer there. But we absolutely liked it!
