There were unique menu items such as miso cheesecake and soy sauce soft serve, which piqued my interest. I was moving around and feeling hot, so even though it was winter, after eating the soy sauce soft serve, I felt cold haha. I couldn't really taste the soy sauce in the soft serve, but it was very delicious.

The waffles were crispy and delicious. The soy sauce ice cream on top didn't have a strong soy sauce flavor, but it was tasty. The chairs were very comfortable to sit in.

This restaurant is run by Yagisawa Shoten, a long-established soy sauce maker in Rikuzentakata that suffered greatly in the Great East Japan Earthquake. The restaurant has about 15 seats. I tried the soy sauce soft serve and soy sauce caramel macchiato. The soy sauce soft serve has a unique combination of sweetness from the ice cream and savory umami from the soy sauce, creating a deliciously addictive flavor. The soy sauce caramel macchiato initially doesn't taste like soy sauce, but as the flavors blend together, a subtle soy sauce taste emerges. They also offer light snacks and other menu items such as coffee and desserts.
