The Esquilin Hill nowadays is full of nice surprises. Last month we bumped into this newly opened bar bistro. It's located right off Via Merulana, halfway between St. John Lateran and the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Great place for a quick bite just steps from the Trevi panini about 6 euro, insalata around 8 euro, and a number of different sides (e.g., fried potatoes, suppli) Our lunch of a porchetta panino, fried potatoes, two suppli and a water was about 20 euro all together.
