Camping Choisy - Rigaud
Camping Choisy
Description
Tucked near Mont Rigaud, this family-focused campground offers abundant activities—pools, trampolines, mini-golf, arcade and train rides—plus clean washrooms, shaded sites and accessible features. Guests praise kid programming, value and daily services, but warn of highway noise at some sites and a seasonal-camper vibe. Reported issues include occasional broken arcade equipment, closed pools, unclear fire rules, booking and communication lapses, and refund disputes. Great for families who confirm amenity availability and choose a quieter site in advance.

Beautiful campsite near the Mont Rigaud hiking trails, especially the land behind P28 and following. Nearby activities: Hiking at Mont Rigaud and cycle paths at Salabery de Valleyfield and the Canal de Soulange Safety: Campsite closed to visitors Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
One of my favorite campsites. Lots of activities for children 2 parks, swimming pool, train, big trampoline, mini putt and so on. Not all sites are perfect for my taste but I found my spot and I go there every year. My children leave in the morning and I have to go pick them up for dinner, same thing for supper. Perfect service and they come to collect the garbage every day from our land. The sanitary facilities are very clean and isolated for 1 person but large enough to go there with children. Truly a little gem for my family and friends. Nearby activities: tree to tree Safety: Great
Good morning! When I arrived, I was told to park my trailer elsewhere, because I was blocking the way; this was not the case and there was no indication of parking, during the time to go and settle at the reception. The reception, let 's talk about it! Two young people who gave us our ' 'Package ' ', a beautiful package of sheets, 8 of which were the same and with 8 spelling errors. There was no explanation for the barrier, if we ever had to return after 11pm. No indication on the map, to get to our land, as if we were going there every week! Once installed, we read the ' 'Package ' ' to find the information for Wi-Fi and there was no information. So, we went back to the office to find out about the procedure: They had forgotten to give us the ' 'little paper ' ' with information that is only valid for 24 hours. So, you have to go back there every day. A bit ridiculous for a 5 star campsite at $69.00 plus tax per night and not to be better organized than that. In addition, the sewer connection is much too high: I had to undo the 90 degree elbow to drain myself. And let 's talk about the non-stop noise from Route 201: Travelers ' lots should be in a quieter location. After taking a walk, several seasonal sites are without maintenance with old trailers that are really not clean... Where is the 5 STARS??? It was the first and last time for us.
