This place exceeded my expectations. It's a big menu and while there isn't a whole lot of vegan options, what they do make they do very well. The spice and flavor felt pretty balanced to me and the food came out quickly. We were also grateful to be fed at 10.30pm as other vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants had closed before then. What User doesn't like about Indian Raja:
decent Indian food, but nothing more than that. the portion size is for a person with an average appetit, a little on the smaller size. if they are Indians, they might want to order extra rice. We really enjoyed this place! we had wobble bhaji, then huhn madras, chickensaga and chicken jalfrezi all tasty, with a lot of good quality meat. a garlic nan and a sweetheart ranged between 3 of us, and again they were really delicious. madras is hot! beautiful tasty and the kiwi bar next door is also worth a visit.
We had a late flight from riga to bristol, so decided to have an early dinner or perhaps late lunch on the day of our departure. the Indian raja is located near the hotel in which we lived, so we decided to try it and we were glad that we did as it was very atmospheric with beautiful spicy aromen. there was a large selection on the menu so there is something for everyone. the food and the service were very good and so we left riga happy!
A beautiful atmosphere! service and eating were excellent. big courts! the location is good and easy to find. service was also fast.
Came for a weekend trip to riga and visited these Indian 2/3 nights we were here. excellent eating, friendly service could not rate it anymore!
Beautiful authentic food! Wow I think this is one of the best curries I’ve had outside of India! Thankyou for some beautiful food!
