Black Magic - Riga

What a delightful shop! We went in expecting to look at some gourmet chocolates but saw there was seating so ended up enjoying some drinks and sampling chocolates. The chocolates were so good I did end up purchasing a small box and a bar. The service was attentive and the staff knowledge and friendly. We felt comfortable just taking our time and enjoying. Highly recommend!

Literally the most magical place in Riga! Must visit for all the witches magicians Non-alcoholic cocktails would be a great addition to the menu for the ones who aren’t drinking alcohol. Desserts are both delicious and beautiful, but what takes your breath away is the atmosphere

An awesome place to go, great coffee, great and unique drinks, delicious chocolates and truffles. The atmosphere is unique, like back on time. Don't forget to book the tasting tour, where you can learn the history ofthis place, was originally a pharmacy. Our host, Ilona, explaining the interesting history, sge perfect to the detail, informative and with a great sense of humor. All staff are friendly and attentive to every detail. My suggestion Clavis Riga or Riga Cafe.

The best place to try Black Balsam! This is a really special place where staff are in medieval dress and the history of the shop as a supposed apothecary comes to life! As we were trying balsam for the first time we got the original as well as the cream balsam. The cream was my favourite (like Bailey's) but I think trying the original is a must when visiting Riga! The waiter was funny, friendly and helpful, recommending things on the menu and sharing a few stories about the shop. Really great spot to get the full experience.
