Richard Varese and Villa Richard provided an unparalleled experience. It was more than just a restaurant; Richard was far more than just a host. The entire evening of drinks and dining was truly exceptional. Last spring, at the age of 92, Richard still made his way down the stairs to greet us, even as his age was starting to show. The intimate dining areas, the decor, the incredible food, the attentive staff, and the overall ambiance were all remarkable. Spending time at the bar with Richard as he shared insights about the menu created lasting memories. I sincerely hope the establishment can carry on, but Richard played such an essential role in making the evening special. Wishing you the best, and may you rest in peace, Richard.

I rate this restaurant an outstanding 11 out of 10 for both the food and ambiance. Richard and Dean always go above and beyond. I celebrate my birthday here each year, and my guests are always looking for reasons to come back throughout the year. The venue radiates classic elegance, provides exceptional service, and delivers an unparalleled dining experience that is rare to find in today's restaurant scene. The service is consistently impeccable from beginning to end! A big shoutout to the team—I can't wait for my next visit!

I worked here as a bartender and waiter, and I also loved the food. I really miss Richard; he's such an interesting person. My time here was an amazing experience—definitely the best serving job I've ever had. I made a good income and met a lot of wonderful people. Richard runs the place like he's hosting a dinner party for friends, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had many regular customers who visited every weekend.

Please be advised that the restaurant has shut down. It's quite unfortunate.
