After walking around on the Bettmerhorn, looking with astonishment to the quiet Aletschgletscher (the longest glacier in the Alps) and the visit of the museum we had a drink, some dry meat and cheese in this self service restaurant. Since I have a cousin who works at Bettmeralp I got VIP treatment! The restaurant 's food is quite tasty, very fresh and generous portions. It's self serve, but the entrees are made on the spot when ordered. Also, everything is extremely clean. read moreTry the homemade "Alt Wiener Apfelstrudel". Absolutely delicious, rarely had such a good Apfelstrudel dessert !
The weather wasn't super, but the Schnitzel Pommes Frites was cooked fresh and better then most restaurants in towns! The view is awesome!
