The girls running the show are friendly and super nice. Food is excellent. She even offered to add rice cakes to the menu for next time since I asked her for this Shanghai dish in a Sichuan centered restaurant! Our favorites shredded lamb with hot green peppers, Crispy Chongqing Spicy Chicken, and spicy fish. What John P doesn't like about Truly Sichuan Bā Jiāo:
Went here recently with my family (party of four). Food used to be better with larger portion but it 's somewhat subpar now especially with its price points. Also make sure to double check your bill as our waitress scammed us, tackling on a service fee for our party of four. I don 't mind the automatic 20% on a party of 6+ but cmon this is not Miami. Called her out on it and she said it 's mandatory for a party of 4?... View all feedback.
Happy to have a local Sichuan spot! The wontons in chili oil are banging and a must have every time. My family has eaten tons of wontons, and even the toughest critic admitted these were legit. Additional fan favorites are the dan dan noodles, Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce, and crispy fish with crispy onion. The chow fun was most disappointing clumpy and dry but that might be a factor of having it to go. Overall still happy with the value and quality of food. Will be back!
I've dined in and done delivery and always great! The scallion pancake is light and crispy, kung pow chicken flavorful and slightly spicy, and cumin lamb delicious!
So NASTY i’m sorry but that is true Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1

Pretty average food at a very high price. The restaurant was visually appealing and the small staff was attentive and managed to keep up. Our appetizers were brought out quickly followed by our main course while we still had our appetizers, strike one. Silverware was only available upon request chopsticks were part of the main setting. But the final strikes came with the bill, $194 for 3 appetizers and 4 entrees one of which was Lo Mein? I noticed that there was a $36 service charge which I asked about and was informed the gratuity was included. This was not indicated anywhere prior to the meal, strike 2. Again a $170 Chinese meal was over the top but sneaking in the tip was about to get dishonest when I handed them my credit card and was handed the slip to sign which prominently had a blank line with the word Tip in front of it. I wonder how many people fill in that line and are duped into a double tip? Strike 3! Adequate food, fair service, crazy prices and dishonest business practices equals no return, No recommendations and no more trying other Chinese restaurants when I have already found my Favorite.
