Charming little place with delicious food. We dragged a star because we ordered the checkout and arrived when they said it was ready and I could literally see how they prepare my food in the back while I waited for about 10 minutes. And they weren't busy. We're still going there. The food is very good. View all feedback.

This used to be our favorite Indian restaurant, but things changed about a year ago and it's not the same anymore. The food is still good with good flavors and a bit of spice, but it's not as satisfying as it used to be. I ordered delivery tonight and here's my review. One of the best Indian restaurants in Bergen county area. They have the tastiest lamb biryani and curry, not very hot spicy yet flavorful and tastes amazing. My kids loved it! Only thing is, their place is very busy so there maybe a possible waiting time to get a table. Highly recommend this place!
Hands-down one of the most delicious Indian foods I have ever eaten. Their service was so effective, respectful, kind, and generous. And how about that mango cheesecake with nutmeg and all those other spices? Although cheesecake may not be a traditional Indian dessert, that was the absolute best cheesecake I have EVERRRRR had in my life.
We we're looking at Indian restaurants in the area and ending up running into Manjal by chance. The food was good with many South Indian options and the service was even better! Highly recommend if you happen to be in the area!
The food was tasty and the prices were fair. We will definitely return. The staff was very attentive despite the small size of the restaurant. The venue could use some updating.

The Lamb Vindaloo was warm but not hot, and while it was pretty spicy, the lamb was chewy and overcooked, not as tender as I would have liked. The rice was flavorful, though.
