I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. In previous years, the service has been excellent. However, for this reopening after the quarantine, I expected higher cleanliness standards. The dishes are transported without a cover, potentially getting contaminated during transportation. The utensils are placed at the moment, but without any sealing, the server takes them from the service station (as in previous years), which does not guarantee they have not been contaminated. The servers do not use gloves, which does not give me the certainty or guarantee that they have not been contaminated while going to another table, the kitchen, or the bar. The same happens with cocktail drinks, they are delivered without any cover or guarantee that they have not been contaminated during transportation. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness for this restaurant, so I did not feel safe during my stay.

Perhaps the best overall meal I have had while staying in mexico! The appetizer of bbq tacos was quite tasty.
This was the best meal on our one week trip to Mexico (not counting the Thanksgiving dinner at a private residence).
