I would give zero stars if it was an option. I went into Lava Java today and I was treated so rudely that I will never be back. When I got to the counter I asked if they had pumpkin spice lattes today because I was in Starbucks yesterday and they had their pumpkin drinks. The owner proceeded to tell me that they did not have them yet and just because Starbucks had them doesn’t mean they would. I said I was so disappointed because I was hoping they would have them to which she stated that it wasn’t even fall yet. I said that I’m not a Starbucks person and I was sorry that I even mentioned it because I could see that it was offensive to her. She continued to say that it was offensive because they are not Starbucks. They are so different and they shouldn’t be compared. I said again that I was sorry and I was not comparing them to Starbucks I was just hopeful they had the drink because Starbucks already had them. When I left crying, I called her to tell her how rude she was and she started blaming the whole situation on me and said that I was rude from the beginning. I really was not. She was the one that was so defensive because I even mentioned Starbucks. I spent my entire time in the coffee shop apologizing for even mentioning the other business. Just a warning that if you want to be treated badly I guess this is the establishment for you.
