They offer excellent vegetarian options for my wife, which means I can indulge in Carne Asada without guilt. Some of our must-try favorites include Arroz Con Pollo, Fried Jalapeños, Enchiladas (chicken or cheese), any of the soups, Avocado Tostada, Taco Salad, Carne Asada, and Chicken Mole!
We’ve always had smooth experiences with our orders, including a vegetarian dish for my wife and a meat dish for myself—no mix-... View all feedback.
What Amy Wright doesn't like about El Rancho Viejo:
The staff is always friendly and efficient but the food was just bad. I ordered a cheese enchilada and chile relleno and the cheese wasn't even melted nor did it have much flavor. I hate to leave bad reviews but it's pretty hard to spend a lot of money and have bad food. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
This restaurant was not enjoyable at all! The Food was flavorless, service was non existent and cleanliness was lacking. If you are looking for a good meal or enjoyable dining experience, please do not dine here. It will be a complete waste of your time and money!
There was nothing wrong with the food. It's standard Americanize Mexican dishes. The service, prices and cleanliness was great.
Amazing food and very accommodating staff. I have eaten here 3 times and everything, everytime had been amazing.
The best Mexican food in Ridgefield. Friendly and helpful staff. Good portions on plates served hot. The flavored margaritas tops off a good meal
Food has always been good as well as management. I'm a long-time customer and have been coming for nearly 20 years, I can say with absolute certainty that this is one of my favorite mexican resteraunts of all time. Sitting in the back is lacking and can be dark. However, don't let that deter you from the good food, large portions, and great service.
