Nice place, charming, good food, friendly people. I was debating how many stars it deserves and I landed at 3 without meaning to make it look bad. You know how a 3-star hotel can be really nice without being special? That’s how I feel about Bartolo. I had their filet mignon special tonight and it was the best steak I have had in a while! Great food and service! We will definitely be back!
The first time in Bartolo was impressed by the menu. We ordered the lasagna and salmon and pasta. Everything was delicious and pasta homemade. I would recommend Bartolo to my friends.
So for the third time, I visited Bartolo in Ridgefield Ct. Tonight was epic. I had all the intentions of trying a fish dish because I ate so much meat. One of the specials was a veal pop. Not only was the Veal Chop cooked to perfection with Gravy, that was the best I ever tasted, but there was a wealth of mushrooms that covered this perfect dish of food that, as I said, our server and co-ownership, tasted exactly the way God intended to taste for a mushroom! In the 61 eating at least 3 times a day this was one of the best MEALS from my life!
The best place for lunch... my fave food in Ridgefield. Reservations for the evenings. Owner Koch .
