My group of 4 had our first experience at Devil's Pool. Our waitress, Becca, was polite and assisted us with choosing our dishes. The food and drinks were fantastic. The restaurant was a bit dimly lit, but overall it was a good experience. I would recommend this restaurant.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The music is fantastic, Clay is very kind, and his show is a must-see. The food is amazing, and we are always greeted warmly by the waitstaff. We always leave feeling happy and satisfied, and we can't stop laughing throughout the meal. Our stomachs hurt from laughing so much.

My wife and I ate here today around noon. My first part of the review is about our server, Courtney. She was absolutely fantastic. Easily one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of being served. My wife, who is a head chef by trade, also said the same. She is extremely friendly, and very attentive and helpful. I think being that this restaurant is one of the places within the Big Cedar property, having a server like her is invaluable. I hope they will do whatever it takes to retain talent such as herself.Next, the food. I had the Chipotle queso and chips as well as the cup of chili. Both were amazing. Some of the best queso I have ever had. The chili is also one of the top 3 best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife had the Bison burger and she said it was very good. And, they cooked it to medium rare, just like she ordered. Most places you tell them medium rare and oray it comes out medium at most but they nailed it here. I did ask for a side of Salsa and I recommend avoiding that. It tasted off, not sure if tomatoes had gone bad or what.Overall, excellent food and service. You won't be disappointed coming here even if driving out of the way to get here.

Nestled amid stunning hills and forests, this restaurant offers a charming rustic atmosphere complemented by a limited yet enticing menu. Diners rave about the flavorful steaks and breakfast buffet, particularly the omelettes enjoyed on the terrace. Signature dishes like prime rib and soothing fondue are must-tries, while desserts, such as the beloved Devil's Pool sundae and rich Oreo brownie, promise indulgence. Exceptional service, attentive staff, and a lively ambiance enhance the dining experience. Guests recommend exploring the scenic patio and swinging bridge, affirming the overall enjoyment that brings them back again and again for memorable meals.

The trout dinner was excellent. The server was friendly and attentive. The view of the sunset from their outdoor seating cannot be beat.

For a memorable experience, I recommend requesting a window seat and taking a stroll across the swinging bridge before leaving.

We chose the devil’s pool restaurant in the big cedar lodge’s facility located from hwy 86. west off hwy 65 to celebrate our jubilee. we chose both their 10 unzen prime rib and share a large house salad. our salat, the meals, our drinks and the atmosphere with the exception of a very large group of men were sat after us and apparently never heard from inside. we could almost repeat the jokes/stories where they blew. safely took away the romantic element and took away our otherwise good waitress, which was commissioned to serve all. the service slows down to a rough after they have arrived. she apologised very much and we didn't feel it was her fault.

For our meal, we ordered the cornbread, apple cranberry walnut salad, prime ribs, and rainbow trout. Everything was delicious, with the prime rib standing out for its melt-in-your-mouth texture and top-notch quality. The cornbread was one of the best we've ever had, and the trout was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The only downsides were that the menu listed baby carrots but we received large chunks of regular carrots, and the rice served with the fish was bland and dry. However, these were minor issues that did not detract from an overall satisfying dining experience.

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Kim, our waitress, did an excellent job checking in on us throughout our meal. The chicken wings and ribs were delicious, and the bartender made exceptional drinks. We will definitely be returning during our trip.

You have had this ho-hum breakfast buffet. I had fond memories of this place from meals in the 1990's. It appears they have taken their better cooks onto newer resorts and venues. 5 people $173 with tip. Product should have cost 1/3 of that.

The Devil's Pool at Big Cedar Lodge is fantastic. Our family of 20 thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The service and food were exceptional. I only wish we had a similar place like this closer to our home in Pennsylvania. After our wonderful experience at the Devil's Pool, we will definitely be planning another trip to Branson soon. A big thank you to the staff and management for creating the perfect family dining experience.

Great food and drinks, service was on point and got us in and out quickly. Neat dining experience. We also stopped in for brunch the next morning and was delicious buffet style.
