I will not be eating at this restaurant again. I can make better Mexican food at home, and I am not even Mexican. The food we purchased had little to no flavor. When we brought it home to eat, it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day before being served to us. The chips were overcooked and nothing seemed fresh. Food was off waited over an hour for five people I had to keep asking for my server cause he wouldn’t stop and ask if we needed anything. Also waited forever just to pay for my meal I could have just walked out if I was that type of person. Sad to of had this type of experience I worked here many years ago when they first opened moved out of state and thought while visiting to stop by but sadly won’t do that again. Monster burrito yummy
These people were awesome all around. Great meals there two days in a row.
Olvera 's is one of our go-to spots for dinner. They have a wide menu selection and great service for a very fair price. If you want a place for yourself or your family to have a tasty sit-down meal (and a margarita or two) at an affordable price, this place is for you. Dietary restrictions: Just ask the server if they can accommodate your need. They will let you know if they can or can 't help you.
Good food slow and server did not come by to check on us.
Busy for a Sunday but no wait for a booth. I really enjoyed the shrimp platter as an appetizer and the bacon wrapped shrimp (with rice and beans) as an entree. Definitely a generous amount of shrimp for those who like seafood.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and they served some delicious food. The portions are pretty good and the price isn't that bad considering the recent insane inflation. The complimentary chips and salsa were very tasty and we all enjoyed our dishes, and I really enjoyed the chiles relleno (stuffed peppers for you gringos! . Also our server was quite tentative and friendly despite being somewhat busy.
We love taking from here, but the food is better in. Hot and fresh! So glad we have full food now. I guess they fill the Beggie Burrito with vegetables and not just rice and beans like many restaurants/taco shops. Filled beer is fine not to interfere with mixed drinks or wine. Come because the food is great, house style cooking.
Chicken enchiladas with beans and rice were delicious. Chili Verde burrito, wet, also super tasty. We were there between lunch and dinner on a Saturday. It was very quiet, which was nice. Server was knowledgeable, pleasant and efficient.
I decided to try the Chili Verde at this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, and I was not disappointed. The pork in the dish was incredibly tender and the portion size was just right. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the salsa served with the complimentary chips was. I also highly recommend trying the Horchata. The service was efficient and the staff was very friendly. Overall, I'm happy I chose to dine at this restaurant.

We saw restaurants on google and Olvera’s came highly recommended, so we decided to try it in the city for a night. this is a small jewel, excellent eating, fast friendly service and a great atmosphere. I don't think they can go wrong with any court here, and the churros are amazing. the prices are fabulous.
We love getting takeout from this restaurant, but dining in is even better. The food is always hot and fresh, and we are thrilled that they now offer a full menu. We appreciate that they fill their veggie burrito with a variety of vegetables instead of just meat and cheese like many other restaurants or taco shops. The beer selection is good and we prefer it over mixed drinks or wine. We keep coming back because the food is delicious and cooked in the restaurant's unique style.

We stopped here for a quick brunch before we headed out to Death Valley and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The complementary chips and salsa were delicious too and it did seem like the chips were fresh. They were happy to accommodate vegetarian preferences. The chili relleno was not too breaded as it is in most places. The rice and breads were great. I was not a huge fan of the vegetarian burrito as it was primarily roasted vegetable (zucchini etc inside. I should have asked them to add guacamole on the vegetarian taco as well as I’m sure they would have considered it.I do want to mention that my friends who ordered the fish and shrimp options were really happy with their order.
