John's Pizza-Buffet & Home - Ridgecrest

Where do I begin with this love story of a young boy, whose ugly memories in the walls of John's Pizza lye. The building itself always brings it back and I am spared with superfluous joy. At the moment you walk through the historic door and you immediately remember that you made into the playroom. I am back for a grinder and more of this homemade ice cream and of course bread sticks....with homemade butter and Marinara God bless you all

I lived in Ridgecrest until I was 19 and don't visit very frequently (once every 2-3 years at most). John's is the ONLY local restaurant that has stayed consistently amazing- in fact, they've only gotten better! The bread sticks are a nostalgia thing for me. They are on the bland side if you're used to garlic bread sticks like Little Caesars or Olive Garden, but they still taste so good to me. The bread is soft and chewy, and they're perfect in the pizza sauce. My family loves all the dipping things, though. Ask for peanut butter and honey butter, then mix it. That's what I did when I worked there

They took long to bring me my salad but it was worth the wait my salad was delicious!

Service was great that we were not here in about 4 years and decided that you did not take our children and cut a piece. A little more pricy, but they changed the recipes or something and I would definitely say better than it was before and we will go again.

I lived in Ridgecrest as a child. I'm 44 years old and I remember how delicious the breadsticks were!! I wish they could send me a stack to Jersey.
