What Dufus Wombat likes about Van Hage:
Nicely laid out, large garden centre carrying a variety of plants. They also sell a range of garden ornaments as well as tools, seeds, compost barbecues etc. The car park is large with plenty of spaces. There is a café with cakes on site too. However, there is nothing to set this garden centre apart from others. So don't bother making a special journey to it. View all feedback. What Sharon Edwards doesn't like about Van Hage:
What on earth has happened to Van Hage at Chenies in the last couple on months, all the carefully thought out quality items are being sold off and replaced by stack it high, sell it cheap rubbish. The cafe staff are lovely but we waited 45 mins for 2 toasties goats cheese caramelised onion which ended up being Brie and hot Branson pickle (hugely unpleasant) stale crisps and salad, today 2 x Lukewarm coffees and cake... Good garden center but the cafe is a total rip off! £6.45 for a bacon roll two slices of bacon!!!
Easy access, plenty of parking. Good selection of items but not cheap.
