What andy shields doesn't like about The Bell Inn:
Staff are great, and the location is charming. But things have to be said to make it better for the next people. There is an unpleasant pervasive smell of old cooking oil in the hotel area, the carpet on the stairs needs cleaning or better, binning. The bathroom in my room needs new pipe work and a good clean. We live locally so do not stay overnight here however often come for dinner. Great pub food, imaginative and good quality ingredients. A pub menu with flair and reasonably priced. Great credit to the Chef. The staff are also very welcoming.
We had a family get together last Sunday lunchtime and it was a very good experience. There was a friendly welcome from the bar staff and after ordering our drinks we were then seated upstairs. Although we were the only diners upstairs it worked really well as we had young children with us and there was great music playing softly in the room. The food was outstanding and the ladies who waited on us were efficient and attentive. Highly Recommended.
