What Linda Michelsen likes about The Royston Hotel:
I had my eye on the cheeseburger spring rolls a week before coming here and they didn’t disappoint. The mince and cheese filling was tasty without being too fatty. Served with lettuce too so it cuts through being too heavy. Loved that it came with pickles. While I didn’t have it, the parmas looked amazing and serving size huge. View all feedback.

It was said to be the best parma in the city! they did not mistake! thick enough huhn piece not dry and balanced really well with the salat side ding bob!
Okay, this pub is a bit out of it, but then I probably shouldn't really keep it against this place. Look, it was actually.
This is a real gem, great service, exceptional food , and a real friendly welcome , very relaxing experience. A real good feel to the place

read moreThe Royston is a charming pub in a secluded part of Richmond, offering tasty pub fare with interesting quirks like Hasselback potatoes. The beer selection is flexible and intense, making it a great spot for craft beer enthusiasts. The pool room is considered one of the most beautiful in Melbourne. The venue has a retro vibe with friendly staff and a bygone era feel. The food quality is exceptional, with dishes like wild barramundi and pork belly receiving high praise. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual, providing a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Vegetarian options are plentiful, and the prices are reasonable for the generous portions. The Royston is a popular choice for locals, offering mouth-watering steaks, delicious chicken parma, and a range of craft beers and local wines. The old architecture of the building adds to the cozy feel of the venue, making it a must-visit spot for a great meal and a relaxing atmosphere.
