Nice little chocolate shop with ice cream, milkshakes and hot drinks available too. The caramelised fig ice cream is delicious and it’s nice to try a flavour I haven’t seen anywhere else. $7.50 for two scoops is reasonable as they were bigger than what you normally get at these independent/gourmet style shops. The butterscotch thickshake my boyfriend had was also nice but a little overpriced for me at $9. A normal mi... View all feedback.
Needed a great coffee so checked all along the main drag of Richmond came back here for the Botero blend. We made the right decision coffee was smooth rich delicious, the chocolates were a bonus particularly the home made rocky road !
We came to Tasmania on our honeymoon and couldn’t resist another visit to Richmond. We were served by the new owner who was lovely. She was very generous and the ice cream was delicious.
As a mum who has a child with a dairy allergy, I cannot rate the Richmond Chocolate Shop high enough. Not only do they clearly have their dairy free ice creams and products labelled, but they are particular with cross contamination as well, and so kind when questioned about it. I’m truly impressed with the customer service we have received on numerous visits. Then we have the actual products themselves which are delicious. I don’t usually eat fudge or nougat as I find it grainy or gritty when eating, but the Richmond Chocolate Shop fudge is to die for. And the variety of flavours is brilliant. If you’re in Richmond, don’t skip on visiting this little but amazing chocolate shop as you will truly miss out.

Went here the other day and found it so refreshing to have an open and friendly conversation with the lady there (I think her name was Tam). She was very generous and allowed me to do half scoop of two different ice cream flavours but it was more like 2 full scoops, very delicious! People like her make your day! Will go back there when I visit Tassie again. Thank you 10/10
