The food upstairs is... read more It's a fantastic place, but I've stopped going to the upstairs bar. I prefer to enjoy a few pints downstairs while City is playing at home. The food upstairs is quite overpriced, and as others have mentioned, it has become a more ordinary pick-up spot that lacks character, aside from the trains passing by. However, the band venue is excellent—one of the best around. I've had some great nights there, including last Thursday.

An added bonus is the opportunity to enjoy great bands performing downstairs. It truly captures the essence of authentic Melbourne pub culture—a true gem in this age of superficiality.

Both were fantastic and... read more I just stopped by the rooftop bar for a quick dinner. I ordered the black bean burger, while my husband had the Patti Smith beef burger. Both were fantastic and came with plenty of golden fries. The atmosphere was lively, although the DJ was a bit too loud for my taste, but that seems to be the norm these days. My only issue was with the Pimms and lemonade; they advertise it as containing two parts lemonade to one part Pimms, but that didn’t seem to match what I received. We typically mix it at three parts lemonade to one part Pimms, which results in a stronger drink. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this place!
