Lovely pub, hugely crowded after the Army Navy game, but somehow the staff cope. I'd like to pay a visit someday when there isn't a match on. My only observation is the toilets can't cope, but to be honest, when your the nearest pub to the ground you could have 50 stalls and they still wouldn't suffice. View all feedback.
What TouringChrisC doesn't like about Duke Of Cambridge:
I visited this restaurant for a drink after the Premiership game and was extremely disappointed. It cost me £17 for just 2 pints of bitter. I would suggest going to the stadium instead, as it is much more affordable. View all feedback.
New owners have ploughed a lot of money into getting this pub up-to-date, clean and refreshed and it shows. Little things like clean windows and rid of the ancient noticeboard. Big things like more (bigger/better) TV screens, artificial grass and heaters for one of the undercover bars etc, I could go on but please come and visit for yourself! Locals might bark a bit but don't bite, and the staff are welcoming and friendly
This place is very cool, SIA guy is a biker and he is chilled, bar staff cool, but is a kind of exclusive , other day the threw me something while I was sipping my soda, and I say WHAT?! Plus they told me place was shut telling me to get out (it was late at night) but regulars where just keep drinking and ordering , sitting at the bar, why?? EVERYONE WAS SMOKING , in the garden and left room. Manager , big bloke, seems OK, but obviously seems very close to regs . Girls at the bar TOP I guess place is cool overall but if you are an outsider it s a bit tough, you ll have that feeling. Not too welcoming. But bar staff is super very kind
Met work colleague here until six nations started, friendly staff packed, food served at back
Old school style pub, big outside space, great for when the rugby is on as the outside is used with pop up tents, great atmosphere.
Very friendly staff. I had a great experience watching the rugby there. I'll be back for sure.
