Royaltea Hillcrest Mall - Richmond Hill

The first time we went, it was fantastic! I actually visited almost every day. However, after a week, the tapioca wasn't cooked properly. I understood, though, since it was close to closing time. But my friend insisted we try again, and I'm glad we did because it turned out to be great!

The prices are slightly higher compared to similar places like Machi Machi, so it may not be my go-to spot all the time, but it's a great option for a quick treat when you're in the area. I'm also curious to try their light drinks, although I wonder if those are just a marketing gimmick. Overall, I had a positive experience at Royaltea!

I didn't have high expectations but was surprised to find the same two restaurants on Yonge Street were closed. However, I was impressed by the great selection of flavors at this place, and the server was very professional and knowledgeable. It stands out as better than the other competitors in the shopping center!

Love this bubble tea.\\nIt's reasonably priced and the place is clean. Service is friendly.\\n\\nI usually take the milk tea but decided to go with coffee tea today and it was delicious.\\n\\nRegular sugar doesn't feel too sweet and there are not too many pearls which I like that way.

With the new Ontario lockdown in place, I have been looking for more new restaurants and cafes that I haven't tried before. I decided to try Royaltea so I ordered from Ubereats. I ordered the milk tea with tapioca in a bear bottle and original bubble waffle. The staff called me and told me they were sold out of bubble waffle and offered me to choose a drink instead so I got a chocolate mousse drink. The bear bottle was super cute, but the tapioca is harder to drink since they were stuck to the bottom of the bear and the straw isn't long enough to reach the bottom. The milk tea flavour is also not as strong as other places, but it isn't bad. Overall, the bubble tea is ok. For the price, I would not get it again, but it was worth a try for the cute bottles.
