That was an incredible experience. if they are looking for a culinary experience, I strongly recommend this place. beyond the incredible eating out, the sushi cuisine (jin and andrew) are incredibly hospitable and professional. the preparation of the spears is peak class; you can clearly see how much care they give for their guests. that was beyond a meal....it was an experience that I will remember for a long time and will definitely go back.
Gin, the cook, he gave me one of the best Grandmakase experiences in Canada. victoria, the manager, thank you for their description of the individual dishes. there was actually a better experience in tasting the food. andrew, the sushi cook, is looking forward to her and thank you for serving us the ochazuke!
The day of the celebrated vaters and the experience was great. we ordered the $220 omakase set that includes the a5 Japanese wagyu. all fish were super fresh and the cook took his time to explain some of the dishes he served. the waitresses were super nice and took their time to explain each court. service, ambiente and eating were incredible. it is worth coming back!
A omakase style kaiseki meal. excellent ambiente and mood, with thoughtful touches on eating and a warm, welcome environment with the cook. a little intimidating if they don't have experience with this style, but an extremely pleasant experience. come for the experience, enjoy the food, leave them with the memory. inexpensive, so save them for these special occasions where they can enjoy it.
Visited Rin Sushi on Valentine's day and Chef Jin did not disappointed. This restaurant only serves one omakase menu for $195 per person. Highlights for me was the tamago tofu with foie gras, truffle mushroom rice and the uni toro hand roll! I've had many toro uni hand rolls but this is the best I've had. It has some crispy bits and the uni just melts in your mouth. Would come back just for the handroll.
