The owner is so sweet always gives me a free cookie when I order a sub : Plus the quality of the ingredients is amazing. My fav part is the panini press so much better than subway's toaster. View all feedback.
This Mr. Sub is located in a busy plaza in the most southern part of Richmond hill, off of highway seven. There is a tonne of free parking.<br/ <br/ I like this location. This place has been here quite a few years but still looks new and modern. It's airy and neat and clean. There is a television playing cable pulse twenty four for your viewing pleasure if you sit in. I have been to some that are pretty run down looking and not the cleanest. It is not the case with this location. Yay.<br/ <br/ Mr. Sub has become a lot more like other sub places over the years like different breads and toasting. Love it. I really like that Mr. Sub is Canadian.<br/ <br/ When you order you pick the size of the sub, six inch or twelve inch, and the type of bread. I prefer plain white or the one with cheese. You pick your proteins. They have a number of combos you can choose from. I will list my favourite ones later. Then you pick vegetable extras they have mushrooms -right on), and then sauces. If the combo I pick does not come with a pre set sauce, I pick regular sub sauce which seems to be a simple oil and vinegar.<br/ <br/ My favourite sub's are:<br/ <br/ 1. Steak and cheese which is thin sliced seasoned steak, melting cheese with a smoky sweet and tangy barbecue sauce.<br/ 2. Canadian Club which is made with crispy bacon, sliced turkey, deli ham. I pick sub sauce.<br/ 3. Albacore tuna. A tasty tuna sandwich.<br/ <br/ They also have a number of wraps, chili, and tasty soups.
Typical submarine sandwich shop. Clean tables, friendly staff, bright lights, nice menu choice. Food is competitively priced and seems to be fresh. You can watch your sandwich being prepared and can add as much or as little toppings as you want for no extra charge. There is a charge for extra cheese and meat. They have vegetarian sandwiches, but I don't think they have vegan meals. They can cater to large groups if given enough notice. I bought subs for 150 people and had no complaints. I talked with the manager about 1 week before I needed the food to discuss quantity and price. 1 week later the subs were prepared and packed in boxes ready on time for me to pick up.
I think the owner is the gentleman who is at the counter 9 out of 10 times we visit. He remembered my spouses sub preferences even after a 1 year break between visits, and always gives us excellent service. He's awesome and makes a fantastic sub!

I've never seen someone make a sandwich with more care and diligence, he even checked to see if I wanted him to switch gloves before making my sandwich
