This place was hidden in a Richmond Hill plaza (near Holiday Inn Express and Royal Bank of Canada.) I drove by it several times and did not realize that there was a Dim Sum restaurant. There was insufficient parking in the plaza; luckily, we arrived early. Chairs were covered with sleeves. Dim-sum was very good and had sufficient varieties. We had to order the items on a piece of paper; and service persons would deli... View all feedback.

Overall the food is acceptable, not the best! But found one of the waiter is very rude! Why? Let me explained why. At the end we couldn't finish the food and asked for the little container politely. Waiting for a while and he turned around and just threw the container in front of me. very rude manner! ! However other waitress noticed that and apologized to us. I hope this unprofessional manner should not happen again... View all feedback.
Overall decent dim sum and typical service. Nothing stands out in my head as good or bad. Food tasted good! I will and have gone back as repeat customer.Place is good for big groups. Note, waiting area is small. Restaurant is withing a plaza but plaza is busy and parking can be limited.
Soooooo sloooooooooooow…we waited over 30 minutes for the final dim sum dish we ordered. It took four requests to finally get the water and cutlery we asked for. It was a Wednesday, so not exactly a peak day. With all the competition surely this place could make more of an effort.Any restaurant other than a sports bar has no need to run TVs.Small portions, though the food was fresh and hot…but the frustration and annoyance of being ignored cancels that out.
A good place for dim sum!! I always come here with my family to have lunch on long weekends. You don't have to wait that long if you get there around noon -1pm. Good quality dim sum, love all the dumplings, fried tentacles, and fried softshell crab. It's one of the better dim sum places around.
Prices for dim sum in general has gone up across the GTA and in general I wouldn’t recommend dim sum at all these days. What’s worse at Golden Court is the food has also gone through shrinkflation (see pics and description for details) in addition to the ridiculous prices. Together this makes for really bad value. The food was just average.
It has been awhile since I last visited this restaurant for dim sum.It used to be my dimsum place because they serve some old school dim sum 鵪鶉蛋燒賣 and 炸種. They got very busy and had to wait for a long time for a table. After renovation, the place looks bright and nice. Food is still as good before. If you want to go, go early to get a table. It's worth a try.
