This restaurant is a hidden gem for food enthusiasts! We ordered a chicken hot pot and the flavors were explosive and delightful. The servers were incredibly professional, courteous, and provided great customer service. The overall ambiance of the restaurant (chairs, floor, walls, decorations) could use a little more attention from the owners. My boyfriend mentioned that the washroom was not pleasant, but I am choosi... View all feedback.
What Eddie Poon doesn't like about Gogo Chicken Pot:
I had dinner with my parents tonight and was quite disappointed with the food. Overall, I would rate it a 4 out of 10. The lobster noodles had no taste at all and the pork knuckles were very oily with bad meat. The worst part was the dirty and smelly washroom. I will not be returning here again. View all feedback.

The chicken pot is delicious. It has a bot servant. What a high tech restaurant.Parking: Lots of parkings

TLDR Overall rating (value/venue/service/food) is somewhere between 3 to 4 stars, depending on if you like salty/bold tasting food. If you do, you will find the food delicious. If you don't, the food will likely be too salty for you. Let me get the easy things out of the way: Value is very good (5 of out 5) as in market price with above market portion. Venue is average or below average as they aim at a neighbourhood down to earth ambiance. In short, not a place to impress a new acquaintance. The place is not sparkling clean nor is it dirty. Services is pleasant, effective but slow. They are usually busy in the evening, 7 days a week. The staffs rush in, out and around fast, and I have a hard time attracting one's attention. Once I could, the staffs respond quickly. Kitchen can be slow. Now to the hard thing the food. Very authentic, bold tasting, homely food. They also have nice entrees as lobsters and fishes. The famed GoGo Chicken Pot is big, lots of chicken and richly favoured with the inhouse special sauce. It doesn't look fancy, but it sure is wholesome. Then why is food the hard part to rate? If you don't like to eat too salty, I am not sure you will like this place. I like salt. Very much. And even I wouldn't dare to eat here weekly. Consider yourself forewarned. So here it is I recommend GoGo Chicken Pot highly if you like bold tasting dishes. Or if you come for the experience of the famed chicken pot. However, if you have a dietary restriction for salt, you likely would be overwhelmed here.
Went there with my family for dinner. The food is great and tasty. Really generous portions. Was surprised to get bird's nest soup for dessert. This place really reminded me of Hong Kong style restaurants that I use to go to as a kid... including the condition the washrooms are in. The service is not the best too. May need to ask for things more than once and wait longer than you might think you would need to. The staff are nice and friendly though.Overall, would go again though. The food was that good
