I've been ordering from this place for over a decade and they have been consistently great. I'm not sure if it's the best Chinese in Richmond Hill, but it's the best bang for the buck by far. And the cashier lady has a crazy good memory. She always remembers who you are and what you ordered before. View all feedback.
What Maryam S doesn't like about Dynasty Chinese Restaurant:
We ordered shrimp with snow peas, hot and sour soup, spring roll, and chef special noodle. It was one of the worst Chinese foods I’ve ever had. The spring rolls tasted awful, the soup tasted nothing like hot and sour, I threw mine in the trash after just trying it. The noodle was so greasy, I cannot even put into words. Not sure how this place got such high reviews, don’t get tricked by the high rating. View all feedback.
In our Covid world we are trying to support the independent companies. after we have never ordered them before we have taken their advice on the menu and adhere to mostly cooking specialities. we are happy to share that all the dishes we selected were good...and delicious with special meñtion of the bbq pork, the sommee and the spring rolls. it was also great to see that they have their own delivery and they are masked and glove. try them soon!
We went to lunch today on the reviews that I read for dynasty Chinese restauant, which were better than most. the restaurant was empty and even if it is winter and floors are hard to keep clean, this is a restaurant and floors should...constant it is not very appetizing to eat on dirty floors. we ordered the lunch speciality, won ton soup (yellow water) so not sure what that was, garlic noodles, which were salty and very bitter and lemon chicken, which was debris and hard. I couldn't cut that huh, and the huh was very hard on itself. I do not understand the taste of people nowadays and I am really disgusting with the reviews on restaurants. if the people do more cook to home, they might know how bad restaurant has become. I raised 3 children and worked and managed to make proper meals so I don't want to hear that people don't have time. if more people would not shake with the müll these restaurants, maybe people like me could trust ratings and not waste money, once in a dae. we are now seniors.
We're still coming here a few times a year. eating is plentiful, served hot and consistently satisfying. not 100% authentic, but rather close. the place is always busy and has a lot of repetition customers. if they consistently want to satisfy Chinese food. at a good price, this is the place.
Really friendly staff, but eating is average. we ordered three items that all seemed very salty. let's not go back.
Honestly this is the worst chinese food that we have ever tasted. We ordered General Tao Chicken , chinese veggies and a bowl of rice. The general Tao chicken was horrible. It looks like they took Kentucky Fried Chicken and put in a bland sauce...that was neither spicy or savoury .The chinese veggies were stir fried in a pkg of salt and were limp and not crispy. If you want great chinese food go to Congee Wong on 16th and spadina Richmond Hill.
