What Hanna Mitchell doesn't like about Bayview Court Chinese Restaurant:
Poor food and poor service. The food is much worse than Congee Queen. The service is bad. The set lunch offers ice coffee for extra (without mentioning to us ahead) but does not have regular hot coffee available. The ice coffee is not even...cool and obvious made from hot coffee plus ice so why hot coffee is not available for free? The food is very oily. Too much MSG. View all feedback.
2017/11/04 when we drove to the north at midday, we stopped at the bayview court. the restaurant was almost half full and we sat on one standing that was good for us. the wall between the dining room and the kitchen was set up to resemble the outer of some small shops, so that the restaurant inside a little a feeling in the free. we ordered two small bowls of hot and sour soup (with cut pork and garnel). a bowl would have been enough for both of us. it was served to **** hot and had a bit more edgy than most similar suppers we had elsewhere. our first main dish was “145 sweet sour chicken w/ ananas cantonese style”. first I thought that was broken, but it could be immersed in maize before roasting. the chicken pieces were quite large, and some of them were cooked a little. our second dish wanted to be crispy bark meat, but our server told us that it was not available. we changed our choice to “166 die fried beef w/ fresh mushroom green Onion”. the bark was cut thin and delicate. Some of the mushrooms were quite large, and difficult to get with chiffel. in general, the proportions were quite large. there was a problem with the suppenservice. Usually the suppe is served almost immediately after the order, but our was not. it was served at the same time with the main dishes. the food tasted good, but the service could have been better.
This is our Chinese restaurant in our immediate neighbourship. everything we had is delicious. try the sui mai and the chive knödel, singapur noodles, chili huhn, ingwer bark meat. the hot and acidic suppe is one of the best we had. chin with cashews, sweet and acidic pig, bark in black bean. we try to order something else each time. my only complaining are the early roll, they were not well filled and were tasteless. the place has no eier roles.

All the rice mixed in perfectly with the minced beef and preserved vegetables. I gobbled up three small bowls of rice quickly since I was hungry and this tasted amaaaaazing!
Bayview Court specializes in “Teochew” or “Chiu Chow” cuisine, originated from the Chaoshan region in the north-easternmost area of Guangdong province in China. The menu resembles the one from Congee Wong and offers a huge selection of dishes.
