I go out of my way to seek out restaurants like this...old school, no nonsense, unpretentious..unfortunately this place's time has passed. Service was slow (aren't these places built on speed and quick turnaround) and food was very very mediocre View all feedback.
A landmark in Richmond Hill I have driven by this place over 100 times in the past 30 years and I never stopped to try it out.
3 1/2 stars__Great greasy spoon where breakfast reigns supreme.__Located in the core of Richmond Hill (between Centre St and Arnold) on Yonge, the place is
Still by far one of my favourite breakfast/brunch spots! If you haven't beenAND you live in the area, you've been missing out! _I get the hash with eggs
I had the steak and eggs for breakfast and it was absolutely perfect. The service comes with a smile and the bill would fit anyone's budget. On the opposite side of Yonge Street you will find a tribute to Terry Fox if you take a short walk north. When you return to your car, if you head 1 block east you can walk back on Church Street which has heritage homes built in the early 1800's and the Richmond Hill Heritage Center.
5 star breakfast, 5 star service. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a breakfast this much. Great experience from all angles!
