This was my first visit, and my group of six had a fantastic time! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. The prices matched the quality and presentation of the dishes. The space was clean, and there were plenty of free parking garages available. We would definitely return! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maggiano's Little Italy:
The food was great. However, I wish the host staff had been more accommodating. I had a reservation, and when I requested not to be seated directly in front of the kitchen, they told me no tables were available and that three booths needed to be cleaned. They didn't seem to consider waiting 5-10 minutes for those booths to be ready. View all feedback.
The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant. While we ordered takeout this time, we've dined here before and always had a great experience. Our takeout was ready when promised. However, I had requested both shrimp and chicken to be added to the butternut squash ravioli. The shrimp was cooked separately and placed in a different container, while the chicken was cold and added to my salad instead of being included with the ravioli. The portion of ravioli, intended as a main course, felt more like an appetizer or side dish. One consistent downside, regardless of how many times we visit, is that the prices are quite high.
As far as chain Italian restaurants go, Maggiano's is consistently a great choice. The Maggiano Salad is an absolute must-try. I've sampled a variety of entrees beyond those featured in this review, and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere at these locations is always inviting and comfortable.
I had dinner with my wife, and everything from the wine to the appetizers, salad, entrees, and dessert was exceptional. The service was also excellent. There are many great Italian restaurants in the St. Louis area, and I was pleasantly surprised by this visit. I would definitely return.
Always good. I had their baked penne pasta. The sausage was wonderful as was the abundant mozzarella. The spice was just right! I look forward to another visit.
We love Maggianno's, always have. Sadly, after this evening, I'm not sure we'll go back. We had a 5:30 reservation and arrived early. We sat for at least 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, 30 minutes before we had drinks and a solid hour before food. I understand being short staffed, but servers seemed to be tripping on each other and there was no mention or apology for the significant wait.
