Terrible Experience! I attended my sister's birthday party here and I have to say, the service was absolutely awful. They didn’t have any change and took the orders of just two people from our party of 15 before finally taking the rest of our orders an hour later. I waited two hours for my food, which was supposed to be half off. After two hours, the waitress returned with the check. I went to speak with the owner about the situation and he was just as unhelpful, saying, "Why are you arguing with me? I could go get your food," as if that justified the long wait. By the time our food arrived around 9:45 PM, there was no discount applied, and we were charged full price. I ordered catfish and mac and cheese. The catfish was good, but the greens and mac and cheese were just okay. It really shouldn't take two hours to cook fish, which takes about ten minutes. The staff was very unprofessional, and I would advise anyone to avoid this place. I should also mention they were out of ribs, which is surprising since this place is advertised as a rib joint. What a disappointment!

After two hours of waiting, we still didn’t receive our meals! The manager didn’t check in with us, leaving the staff to deal with our growing frustration without any support. There were no accommodations made during this long wait, and the food itself was overpriced and served cold. We had come as a group and had initially indicated we wanted everyone to be served at once, but that clearly didn’t happen. The few family members who did receive their food were also dissatisfied, either because their meals were cold or incorrect. However, they were quick to hand us the checks — I got mine before even receiving silverware or napkins! Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The only highlight of the evening was the DJ.

The service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this place! I had the best lemon drop I've ever tasted! Food rating: 5/5.
