The atmosphere was friendly, and even though I was on my own, I received support from strangers. I might consider returning if they have a judging panel in the future, but overall, it was a nice place to hang out.

It was late at night, and... read more I visited this restaurant just once, nearly thirty years ago. I was there with a date, or at least someone I was seeing at that time. It was late at night, and the place was packed with every country cowboy wannabe, pick-up driving guy, redneck, and bad-boy farm type in the area. The music was loud and lively—what a fantastic atmosphere! If you were looking for a fight, this was definitely the spot to be. The Budweiser was ice-cold, and my date was stunning, attracting plenty of attention from other guys. Eventually, we had to leave because it got a bit overwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience, and I hope it’s still just as lively. I highly recommend it!

I’ve worked and drove all day, coming to visit the area for the weekend out of Charlotte and I would’ve loved to eat somewhere local rather than just an everyday chain restaurant. I sat and waited for several moments to not even get the bare minimum aside from a food lion water bottle. Never given a menu, or was followed up on.
