I'm not vegan...but surprisingly this Chinese vegan buffet is one of the best restaurants I ate at during my trip to the coast. It looks like a hole in the wall ...but every dish was tasty and fresh. They put out the food in small batches...so its hot and fresh. Lovely Gai Lan, tasty hot and sour soup and the red bean soup....meant as more of a dessert..was wonderful. What Vanmel doesn't like about Veggie Bunch Vegetarian Restaurant:
Went there with vegan friends for lunch and the food was just ok. We found all the dishes pretty oily. The buffet didn't have a lot of food available 12:00 noon and there were clean empty containers). There were only 4-5 pieces of a certain selection or the serving dish was less than a quater full. I'm so glad I found this place It took me two years because the Yelp map location and address seemed to be wrong.

Food is phenomenal and it's a self-serve buffet style thing, so don't go expecting waiting services. It just ain't that kinda dig. The staff are really friendly and really care (you get the sense that they must be the owners) If you love Taiwanese food and vegan/vegetarian food this is the place to go. <br/ <br/ Not only do their mock meats really satisfy any cravings for umami and savoury flavours and chewy/juicy textures, their veggie and carb dishes are bomb too: like the turnip rice cakes. deep-friend taro things. Lots of sweet and salty flavours. Great food. Love it!
