Every time I feel like wonton soup, I come here. The quality is so consistent each and every time that I never go home disappointed (or with an empty stomach). My go-to is their Sui Kau Wonton mein. They served me old leftover chicken from last 2 days or last week, rancid, was just warmed up.I know how old leftover chicken tastes and should be dumped in the garbage not served to customers.My order was (Chicken in black bean sauce with green pepper and onions on fried noodles).Everything was good in the dish except the chicken meat.I told the waitress and she said they can cook a fresh one for me but I said no thanks, I paid and left.Why not cook fresh chicken to your customers to start with. Do I have ask to be fresh?I’m just hoping they stop doing this and cook fresh meat.I’ll stop by again soon just to see if they stoped serving leftovers and I’ll do a follow up review.By the way I used love their food before when they used cook fresh chicken but last 2 times it was leftovers chicken.The waitress was nice and very polite, no complaints except the food.
Beef brisket are hard like a rock, dried and tasteless with wonton noodle in tasteless soup.Fish congee with too much ginger inside.Wonton noodles in soup, big piece of fatty pork shrimp wonton in tasteless soup.Extremely cold there. Hard to find parking space
Tasty but we were very thirsty afterwards, so probably a lot of salt and/or MSG in the soup base. I got the beef brisket and wonton noodle soup.I liked the dividers between the tables.
Pandemic had a real impact on the business. It was such a popular eatery with late hours into the night. Now it closes at 9 PM. Food is still very good and authentic HK style!
Real deal. The hot sour soup was absolutely delicious! Scallops shrimp and squid(? It was delicious with rich spice flavor.
