Visiting from Seattle we were looking for great dim sum. This is a local favorite so it seemed, many Chinese people dining here. The hostess wasn't very polite but seated us quickly. The manager came out to take our order, he spoke some english and was very nice to us. The food was very good, the Chinese broccoli cooked to perfection with a garlic sauce. One thing we noticed, no soy sauce or hot sauce on any of the t... View all feedback.

Restaurant is not big...but there is adequate space between tables to move around. Service is above average. Reservations is recommended and there is a time limit 1.5 hours for each seating for All You Can Eat Hotpot. Regular menu items are available and price is reasonable. Free parking is available but hard to find in the strip mall ... paid on street parking is available. View all feedback.
I'm rating this place 3.5. There were 14 of us who came here for dinner based on ‘2017 Diner’s Award’ as the best Cantonese restaurant. The portions were slightly smaller than other restaurants we've eaten at. We ordered several dishes:- lobster in vermicelli hot pot – lobster tasted fresh and it was nice to have something different accompanying the lobster.- pea shoots – seemed like it was steamed with no garlic or seasonings.- Fish pieces in broccoli – flavourful- seafood rice wrapped in a leaf – decent assortment of seafood including bits of shrimp and dried scallops. Presentation was unappealing – like a big blob of rice placed inside a leaf. Least liked.- Honey garlic spareribs – the kids favourite dish- Sweet and sour ribs – kids second favourite. I found the taste to be a bit odd- beef in lettuce wrap - average. Ask for more lettuce and was told they didn't have much left. Beef was over cooked. Also ordered a few bowls of rice. Rice tasted like leftovers from lunch. They are also known for the hot pots which we didn’t try. Too bad they don’t show their menu on their website. They offer a Gold card membership for $10 which means you can receive discounts on dim sum. Unfortunately, you can’t use the card the same day you buy their membership. They’re located in an obscure business plaza off Hazelbridge Way. Service was average. There are sooo many Chinese restaurants in Richmond that it’s worth seeking other ones. I wouldn't of voted this place as being the 'best' Chinese restaurant in Vancouver.

I spend a lot of time in Richmond, which means I am exposed to the best Asian food in Canada. Probably the best on the West Coast of North America. I have developed a real appreciation for Dim Sum. A friend from China invited me to lunch at the Top Gun and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and delicious offerings. In a town where you can get great dim sum in the grocery store the bar for a restaurant is pretty high. Top Gun will not disappoint.
Had dim sum here several times, alway good! Love the crispy tofu, the green beans, the congee with fish was excellent, the BBQ pork steamed bun, and the egg tarts are always good. Parking can be an issue sometimes but today it was not!!I would highly recommend this restaurant!
We took the family here for dinner at about 730 pm , and we were the only Caucasian folks here. This place was very busy. we were a little intimidated by the menu but their restaurant manager was great and helped us out. a bit on the expensive side but the portions were generous and the food was excellent. next time I will give thier hot pot a try.
