The Southside Cafe is located just 2 blocks East from the YVR South Terminal on an indiscreet dead-end road which I would have never found except for my friends. My boyfriend and I were looking for a cafe to get some breakfast when we stumbled across the Southside Cafe.

I understand from Sarver that their primary business comes from catering to private and corporate fixed wing aircraft (of course the offerings much be top notch. There are 6 parking stalls in front of the cafe reserved for patrons. I would recommend this cafe without reservation
We were looking for a place for a quick bite before we picked someone up at the Airport. Our GPS led us to Southside Cafe. We were disappointed to see it was not open. As it happened the owner was just walking up and invited us in, saying he could make us something. We had a nice chat and a good sandwich, before being on our way.
Fantastic soups and sandwiches! Staff are friendly and the service is good, but the food makes this little out of the way restaurant worth looking for.If you find yourself on the South side of the Vancouver airport around breakfast or lunch time, turn right off the main road to go towards the South Terminal, go past London Air, and turn right again to find the Shell FBO (Fixed Base Operator) and the South Side Cafe is right there.
