Tandoori Kona - Richmond

Stopped here (as it was the only Indian snack bar on way from Jasper to Edmonton, and we were craving comfort snacks in a hurry! the place served just what we needed! Very tasty fresh vegetable pakoras and hot Masala Chai (Spiced Indian Tea , the server/bartender was very friendly and courteous, and the food kept us going happily on the roads for next 3 hours to catch the flight! Ambience can prob be better, so area of improvement there but my experience at the place was great!

I had Goat Masala over here which was taste really good. They have ambience which was kids friendly. I actually had let them know about the paper towels in the restroom which was empty, other that that, I enjoyed food and vibes.Must try: goat Masala .

This restaurant never has what you want. Have ordered from them in advance and they call day of pickup that they don’t have a specific menu item.! Today was the last time I’m ordering from them. Ordered 4 days ago for 5:30PM pickup, arrived at 5:30 to find they hadn’t even made my order yet!!!! Now 30 minutes later I’ve got my food. Staff didn’t even offer an appetizer or discount for the inconvenience.If you don’t care how your treated, this is the place for you!

Tandoori Kona used to be my go to place when I felt like eating some butter chicken. Now the butter chicken tastes awful. More like tomato soup with Indian spices and 5 chicken cubes. I have complained many times but they don't care. Oh well gotta find a new restaurant.
