Tái Fēng Typhoon Bubble Tea Taiwanese Cuisine Tái Fēng Jiǎn Cān

I ordered teriyaki chicken fried rice, but instead, I received vegetable rice! What happened to my teriyaki chicken? I waited for 30 minutes, and although I've had positive experiences here in the past, this time was a letdown. I'm really disappointed.

The restaurant may be small, but the food was excellent. I ordered a variety of dishes to share with my friend and introduce her to Taiwanese cuisine. We enjoyed a vegetarian hot pot, chicken nuggets, and a beef wrap, and topped it all off with a few bubble teas. It's been a while since our visit, but I remember feeling wonderfully full afterward, as if my stomach was as hard as a rock from all the delicious food. I made sure to send her home with the leftovers so her family could try it as well. She later told me that her kids loved the food too, and I assured her that my stomach did as well! It was a busy night, but the servers were friendly and attentive. Thank you for creating such a positive experience for my European friend!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. It took an incredibly long time for them to prepare my bubble tea. I understand if they had other orders, but they simply forgot about mine. When I finally took my first sip, my taro slush was bland and just tasted like frozen ice.

Wow! Their milky hot pot broth is one of the best I've ever tasted. It's incredibly creamy with a nearly cheesy flavor. The personal hot pot came packed with a variety of ingredients, from vegetables to fish balls, and I opted for lamb as my protein choice. At around $16 per hot pot, it's quite affordable. Their bubble tea is also fantastic—much better than what you'll find at most bubble tea shops. I tried the taro slush with rainbow jelly and the red bean milk, both of which were delicious, especially with the use of fresh red beans in the drink. I'll definitely be returning for more!

I tried calling the restaurant several times to place my order, hoping to have it ready given the hot and humid weather, but no one picked up. When I got there, the service was quite disappointing—there was no greeting whatsoever. My family and I have been regular customers, but when I inquired about the lack of service, the server told me they were busy. Really? There were only three tables with a total of six customers! If you want to attract business, please work on improving your customer service. Because of this experience, I chose not to leave a tip this time. Now, instead of a quick and easy pick-up, I find myself waiting for my order inside the restaurant.
