Our friend knows the owner so we decided to go to Samsoonie for an early dinner. Lucky we did as the restaurant had a line up out the door after we left! We shared the pork belly wrap dish, gyozas - well made and crispy, crystal noodle with beef, sweet and sour chicken, and seafood pancake. Food is well priced, good portion size and tasty. We dined at this unpretentious little place at the advice of my son who knows of these things. The place is small and was packed with diners during our visit with a small line up a the door. This is a good sign. We sampled a small selection of menu items from a reasonably simple list and were impressed with everything. Note: cash only or debitFollowing an extended Pokémon Go walk, we opted to dine here for a swift lunch. Unfortunately, they made an error with one of our orders, and it happened to be the dish belonging to the slowest eater in our group. Despite the lack of a busy crowd, the wait for our food was quite lengthy. Although the food itself was enjoyable, the kids mentioned that the egg in the noodles had an unusual taste. On the positive side, the service was satisfactory.

The seafood tofu soup and seafood pancake were great. We rarely have Korean food in Richmond. This is a decent place to dine for lunch or dinner. Will go back to try more dishes. Servers were decent as we didn’t need much service anyway. Parking in the plaza is decent too.Food: 5/5
