Roland's - Richmond

Find a new home for a first-time home buyer in the heart of Vancouver.

Three of us walked over to Roland's for dinner tonight and are glad we did. My husband had the half rack, friend had the beef dip and I enjoyed an excellent veggie burger. All of this was topped off with the daily special pitcher of pale ale. The atmosphere was, of course, super on the patio and our waitress entertaining. We enjoyed this pub when it was Hoz's all those years ago and now find that Roland's has successfully come up to the standard we all remember and love.

Visited Roland's for my first time and was pleasantly surprised ! It's a pub - sports bar but the food (we had the fish and chips and fish tacos) and service was excellent!

We've been coming here for over 20 years - in one form or another.Friday night for fish and chips wouldn't be the same if it wasn't at Roland's! Last night was no different. Don't fuss about your table position, if you can see a screen, that's all you need!I can't manage 2 pieces of fish whereas my partner always wants 3 - so we orde 2 each and he gets one of mine! Perfect! He has fries and I have salad which we share. Always good.

We were staying next door at the Nita Lodge, and decided to check out Roland's. Nice spot -- local crowd -- sports bar / lots of tvs. Pleasant servers and good pub food.
