Social Shopper got us again with their $33 voucher for the ALL YOU CAN EAT hot pot (I believe that the regular price is $18.99 per person) I suppose what can you expect for $33 for a couple. The food items we ordered were shorted and in case additional items were included. The wait staff was relatively attentive. View all feedback.
Group deals are decent Came here for the AYCE hot-pot They have a deal for beer where it is 4 bottles for $10 (I'm still unclear about the 'rules' , so
If I base my review on customer service, I'd give it a 5 star. If I base my review on the food, I'd give it a 1 star.
We came by on a Sunday night for an early dinner in a group of four with a Social Shopper coupon for the AYCE hot pot.
I recently tried hot pot for the first time at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the manager surprised us with some complimentary promotions, so we got more than we expected. The menu had a wide variety of options and the food was fresh and tasty. I especially loved the special house sauce with garlic and cilantro. I will definitely be returning to try it again.
I tried hot pot for my first time at Claypot and I swore off hot pot forever. My friend convinced me to give it another shot so we came here to try it out. It was delicious! It has definitely turned me around. The service was good, no complaints really. They filled our teas, suggested items for us to try and showed us how to make it. We got the satay broth, and I just added a bit of salt which made it yummy. The key was the garlicy dipping sauce which was SO GOOD I could just eat it alone. It really made the experience worth while. We got pretty much everything, even spam, which is not my jam lol. Some of the menu translations are pretty hilarious, but expected. The tea could be better and it was served in a glass which was hard to drink from when it's hot. I would definitely recommend the appetizer side dishes like the bean sprouts and the mushroom one. Other than that, I have to say it was a fun interactive experience and I'll definitely be open to having hot pot again!
