I have been coming here for years and in my opinion it is the best Pho in Richmond! The brother is SO flavourful and the spring rolls are fantastic! Lots of filling and a very good size. I have tried 20+ pho restos and I just keep coming back here because it is the best. If you are wondering about it give it a try but make sure to bring cash as it's cash only. View all feedback.
What John P doesn't like about Pho Lan Beef Noodle Soup Restaurant Ltd:
Parking in the rear with an entrance at the back and down the corridor and past the kitchen ... Tables covered with plexiglass and the menu underneath. A selection of many items. We ordered some spring rolls and the special Vietnamese hot and sour soup along with a lemon chicken rice dish and some noodle dishes as well. Nothing exceptional and nothing terrible ... just okay. Value was good. View all feedback.
Really good food and prices are so correct as well. Service is also. Very attentive. Compliments to a staff. Really nice
This used to be our go to for Pho. I say used to, because we don't come here very much any more. The reason? The place just feels (and probably is incredibly unsanitary. (Maybe that's why the food tastes so good?? As far as I can tell, the restaurant is family run. While the food is still quite good although it seems to have slipped a bit over the last year or so I'm not sure if there is a regular cleaning of the place. And I'm not the only one to have noticed: many of our friends who used to frequent the place have also commented on this.
Haven't been here for over a decade since we weren't close anymore and Bao Chau on Hastings was closer and really good. I ordered the grilled pork hash and spring rolls on vermicelli because it was too warm outside for pho. I was elated. Everything in the bowl was delicious and fresh. It looks like it's still a family run operation and the next generation has taken the reins. Food was good, the staff friendly. Will definitely come back if I'm in Richmond and craving Vietnamese food. Will have the pho on a cooler day. My only hesitation is that they have lemon for the pho instead of lime.
Pleasant staff, good portions, reasonable prices. We were a little disappointed in our meals however we have just returned from Vietnam where we ate in comparatively high-end, highly rated restaurants, therefore, not fair to judge too harshly. No credit card or debit- cash only. Not license to serve alcohol.
My first meal every time I visit Vancouver is Pho Lan (reasonably close to airport). The quality of the food here never changes. The pho is so delicious and comforting. I also love their spring rolls and Vietnamese ice coffee.
